ACC Tournament, Friday: Duke’s Curd No-Hits Clemson; FSU Cruises into Final

Cassidy Curd didn’t waste much time putting her name in the ACC Tournament record books. In her starting debut in the event, the Duke freshman threw a no-hitter to help the second-seeded Blue Devils beat No. 3 Clemson 2-0 on Friday afternoon in the semifinals at Melissa Cook Stadium in South Bend, Indiana. Curd is the first freshman in tournament history to throw a no-hitter and the fifth pitcher overall.
