AUX Report: Sierra Romero’s Strong Debut Can’t Save Team Ocasio on Opening Day

It has been a minute since pro softball had a home in California, but Athletes Unlimited’s new competition brought the sport back to its cradle of superstars. Monday’s opening AUX doubleheader at SDSU Softball Stadium in San Diego proved a particularly welcome homecoming for Sierra Romero until a former high school teammate stole the spotlight with one swing of the bat.
