Wallace transferred to Florida from Alabama, where she started at shortstop and second base during her two years with the Tide.

After sitting out the 2021 season at Florida, Wallace has been eager to get back on the field for meaningful games. But she’s a realist. The senior knows Walsh is a special young talent that will likely be a long-term answer at short.
