Florida was voted No. 1 in the D1Softball Preseason Top 25 poll and the plethora of talent in Gainesville is evident. The Gators lead all teams with five players selected as D1Softball Preseason All-Americans.

Catcher Jocelyn Erickson, outfielder Korbe Otis, pitcher Keagan Rothrock, infielder Rylee Holtorf, and outfielder Kendra Falby all earned selection to the preseason All-American squad from the Gators’ roster.

Texas checked in with four preseason honorees, including two players on the first team in Reese Atwood and Kayden Henry. Pitcher Teagan Kavan and third baseman Mia Scott earned second team nominations.

Four additional programs are represented by multiple players on the list. Oklahoma, UCLA, Oklahoma State, and Florida State each had three players earn the preseason honor, while Duke placed a pair of players on the list.

A total of 13 programs placed a single player on the Preseason All-Americans list: Arizona, Arkansas, Baylor, Boston U, Iowa State, LSU, Nebraska, Northwestern, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, and Virginia Tech.

The SEC leads all conferences with 16 total players selected, including ten players on the first team. The Big 12 has seven preseason All-Americans, while the Big Ten and the ACC are each represented with six selections. The Patriot League placed one player on the list.
