Cal Receives $500,000 Facility Donation From Rivera Family
FeaturedNew Cal head coach Chelsea Spencer first met Ron and Stephanie Rivera at a softball clinic in Chicago.
Spencer, fellow Cal grad Vicky Galindo and Cat Osterman were instructors, and Ron and Stephanie’s daughter, Courtney, was one of the young players soaking up their knowledge.
The Riveras invited the three to stay at their home, cooked them meals and treated them like family.
More than a decade later, they have showcased their generosity yet again.
