Inside the Transfer Class: A Look at North Carolina’s Portal Additions

One of the nation’s largest groups of transfers ventured to Chapel Hill, North Carolina this summer, with a total of seven players joining the Tar Heel softball roster via the portal.

All seven newcomers are offensive players, including two catchers; four infielders; and an outfielder. Three of the players arrived in Chapel Hill from other schools in the ACC, while the remaining four came from mid-majors.
