Sun Belt Names Jessica Mullins Female Athlete of the Year

The Sun Belt Conference named former Texas State pitcher Jessica Mullins as the 2023-24 Female Student-Athlete of the Year on Tuesday. The award was presented during the league’s fall meetings in Atlanta.

Mullins, who graduated from the Bobcats’ program after a sensational career, enjoyed a stellar senior season that included being named a First Team NFCA All-American and a Second Team D1Softball All-American. She led Texas State to the College Station regional final.
