ACC Notebook: On the Brink of a Title, Gilstrap Savors Clemson’s Run

Ansley Gilstrap jumped at the chance to transfer to Clemson after she heard the university was starting a softball program.

Gilstrap grew up wearing orange in Blythewood, S.C. as a Clemson fan with a deep family history of graduates from the school.

She immediately embraced the vision Clemson head coach John Rittman had for the program, and loved his philosophy about having a passion and purpose.
