Nicholson spent the last three years as head coach at Georgia State, departing that program with a 50-111 overall record and a 17-55 record against Sun Belt conference opponents.
Prior to her tenure at Georgia State, Nicholson spent five years as the head coach at Hampton and also posted stints leading the programs at Eastern Illinois, Cleveland State, Butler, and Ursuline College.
