The Dugout Digest Joins D1Softball

D1Softball is excited to announce the acquisition of The Dugout Digest ahead of the 2024 season.
Effective January 8, Shelly Carlin and Justin McLeod will be joining the D1Softball team. Carlin will take on the role of Managing Editor while McLeod will become the Associate Editor.
They join longtime softball contributors Rhiannon Potkey and Graham Hays who have been instrumental to the growth of D1Softball since its inception.
D1Softball is dedicated to growing the game of softball by providing the best coverage and resources for fans, coaches, and players all year round. In adding McLeod and Carlin, D1 continues to prove its commitment to being THE one-stop shop for college softball fans and enthusiasts.
McLeod will cover the national landscape and will continue to be college softball’s leading voice on the latest news and developments. He brings over a decade of experience within college softball to the D1Softball family.
Carlin will be responsible for the management of the D1 team and the organization’s operations. She will also continue to provide insight on the ever-changing landscape of the sport. Carlin brings over thirty years of experience within corporate America and is a former college softball player at UCLA.
