First and Third Base Power Rankings: Week 11

Analysis

Who are the best of the best at each position in college softball? D1Softball seeks this out based on offensive production, defensive reliability, individual impact on their teams and much more.

Note: Each player’s position is determined by where they started a majority or plurality of games this season. The position is subject to change as the season goes on.

Valerie Cagle and Baylee Klingler remain as the top players at first base. Joining the ranks this week are Tennessee’s McKenna Gibson and Notre Dame’s Karina Gaskins. Gibson leads the Lady Vols in batting average in SEC play. Gaskins has hit 11 of her 14 home runs this season in ACC play.
