Howard Dobson Stepping Away from LSU Coaching Staff

LSU assistant coach Howard Dobson is stepping away from his position.

Dobson, who spent the last 13 years on staff in Baton Rouge, is leaving coaching to spend more time with his family. His son, Trip, is an incoming freshman on the Ragin Cajun baseball team this fall.

During his 13-year tenure at LSU, Dobson was part of the coaching staff that led the Tigers to four Women’s College World Series appearances and 12 NCAA tournament berths.[…]
