Jocelyn Alo is heading home to OKC to play professional softball.

The former University of Oklahoma star made the announcement of her trade to the Oklahoma City Spark on Thursday morning at the ESPNW Summit in Ojai, Calif.

Alo was the No. 1 draft pick in the 2022 WPF exhibition season by the Smash It Sports Vipers after leading the Sooners to back-to-back national titles and becoming the sport’s all-time home run leader.

Alo broke the news of her trade while speaking on the “World Class Athlete” panel hosted by Julie Foudy alongside pro soccer player Crystal Dunn and UFC’s Julianna Peña.

Per the Spark press release, the outfielder is going to OKC in exchange for draft picks and cash considerations.

Alo hit .373, with three home runs, a .427 on base percentage and .608 slugging percentage during the inaugural WPF exhibition season.

The OKC Spark are set to take the field in June 2023, WPF’s first official season.
