Kimball Cassady Departs as Samford Head Coach

Samford and head coach Kimball Cassady are parting ways, sources confirmed to D1Softball.

Cassady spent three seasons as the Bulldogs’ head coach, collecting a 84-82 overall record and a 39-18 mark in SoCon play. During Cassady’s tenure, the Bulldogs never finished lower than third in the SoCon standings.

Prior to her tenure at Samford, Cassady spent 11 years as the head coach at Birmingham-Southern. She notched 319 wins during her tenure across the Magic City.
