Meet the New Head Coach: Notre Dame’s Kris Ganeff

Kris Ganeff and Deanna Gumpf knew it would happen at some point. One of them would be ready to retire from coaching and walk away from the University of Notre Dame softball program. 

Their relationship had a 25-year history, including two years of Gumpf coaching Ganeff at Notre Dame before Ganeff became an assistant, but retirement was never a package deal.
