Miami Ohio Retiring Karli Spaid’s Jersey

Miami Ohio will retire the No. 7 jersey of graduated All-American Karli Spaid.

The Redhawks announced the jersey retirement plans at Saturday’s football game, when Spaid was honored on the field for her accomplishments during her time as a Miami player.

Spaid, who graduated following the 2024 season, is the first Redhawk softball player to have her jersey retired. A formal retirement ceremony will occur at a later date.
