Mike Coutts Named Rhode Island Head Coach

Rhode Island has hired Mike Coutts as the program’s new head coach.

Coutts most recently spent three seasons as the head coach at D2 Colorado School of Mines. He posted a 70-79 overall record during his tenure, including a 65-53 showing in conference play. In a two-year span, he engineered a 13-win turnaround from his first season to his 3rd.
