Jacksonville State has promoted Julie Boland to the head coaching role. She spent the last 23 years on the program’s staff.

Jacksonville State head coach Jana McGinnis is stepping down from her post. McGinnis confirmed her departure to The Anniston Star in Alabama. The school officially announced her retirement on Monday afternoon.The longtime head coach is leaving coaching in order to spend more time with her family.
