Big Ten softball fans have a lot to anticipate this season. The additions of three former PAC-12 teams and the return of Jordy Bahl to the circle top the list of headlines.

There are a lot of new things around Ragin’ Cajun softball in 2025 – a new coaching staff, a host of new faces on the roster, and an entirely new look for a program trying to sustain momentum.

The Lafayette Regional features host and No. 13 seed Louisiana, along with Baylor, Ole Miss, and Princeton.

The Sun Belt has been and remains one of the best softball leagues outside the Power Five. With the Ragin’ Cajuns looking to build off of a Super Regional appearance and some solid teams fighting for space in the conference standings, another banner year could be ahead.
