Oklahoma-UCLA Highlight’s 2023 Mary Nutter Schedule

Highlighted by a showdown between Oklahoma and UCLA, the schedule for the 2023 Mary Nutter College Classic was released on Monday. One of the premier annual preseason tournaments, the event runs from Feb. 23-26 in Cathedral City, Calif.

Two-time defending NCAA champion Oklahoma plays UCLA on Feb. 26th at 9:30 a.m. PT in a rematch of last season’s Women’s College World Series semifinal. Three other 2022 WCWS participants are taking part in the event: Northwestern, Florida and Oregon State.

Oklahoma, which drew overflow crowds to the fields in last season’s event, also faces Cal State Fullerton, Texas A&M, Utah and Loyola Marymount.

UCLA plays six games in the event, facing Florida (Feb. 23, 7:30 p.m. PT), Kentucky (Feb. 24, 5:30 p.m.), Iowa (Feb. 24, 8 p.m.), Northwestern (Feb. 25, 2:30 p.m.) and Texas A&M (Feb. 25, 5 p.m.) along with the Sooners.

Northwestern will test itself with a strong triple-header against Oregon (Feb. 24, 12:30 p.m. PT), UCLA (Feb. 25, 2:30 p.m. PT) and Kentucky (Feb. 25, 5:30 p.m. PT).

The 30 teams scheduled to participate in the event are: Arizona State, Bethune Cookman, BYU, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, California, Cal State Fullerton, Cal State Northridge, Florida, Iowa, Iowa State, Kentucky, Long Beach State, Loyola Marymount, Missouri, Northwestern, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Oregon State, Portland State, San Diego State, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, UCLA, UC Riverside, UC San Diego, University of San Diego, Utah, Utah Valley and Washington.
