D1Softball Top 25 Rankings: UCLA Takes Over Top Spot

After Baylor upset Oklahoma, UCLA moves up a spot to No. 1 in the poll. The undefeated Bruins swept through the TaxAct Clearwater Invitational to earn the No. 1 ranking for the first time since Feb. 22, 2021. The Sooners fell from their long-occupied perch to No. 2.
Oklahoma State moved up two spots to No. 3 in the poll, followed by Florida and Clemson to round out the top five.
Alabama was a big mover in the poll, elevating six spots to No. 6 after a strong showing in Clearwater, including a victory over No. 7 Florida State.
Arkansas dropped six spots to No. 10 behind Stanford and Washington after the Razorbacks lost to Florida State and No. 13 Duke. Stanford and Georgia flipped spots in the poll after the Cardinal beat the Bulldogs twice on Georgia’s home field.
Baylor and Missouri both entered the poll while Louisiana and North Texas dropped out.
The SEC leads all conferences with 10 teams in the poll, followed by the Pac-12, Big 12 and ACC with four apiece. The Big Ten has two teams and the AAC has one.
