D1Softball Top 25: Baylor Climbs, Louisiana and Florida Re-Enter
Top StoriesSix of the top 10 teams suffered a loss last week, inducing a big shuffle in the rankings. No. 2 UCLA moves up a spot after another series sweep in the Pac-12. No. 3 Oklahoma State drops a spot after a midweek loss to No. 21 Wichita State. The Seminoles move up two spots to No. 4 just ahead of No. 5 Stanford, which swept Arizona for the first time since 2009.
No. 7 Tennessee and No. 8 Clemson both drop three spots after suffering multiple losses to Baylor and Florida State, respectively.
Washington rounds out the top 10 after a series sweep of California at home in Seattle. No. 16 Baylor climbs eight spots after taking two games from Tennessee on the road.
Florida and Louisiana re-entered the poll while Arizona and Cal dropped out.
The SEC leads all conferences with eight teams in the rankings followed by the Pac-12 with five. The Big 12 and ACC have four each, the Big Ten has two and the AAC and Sun Belt each have one.
