D1Softball Top 25: Welcome to the Top Ten, Arkansas
Top StoriesStop us if you’ve heard this before, but Texas and Oklahoma remain in the top two spots in the D1Softball Top 25 poll following week twelve.
Tennessee, Oklahoma State, and Stanford round out the top five. The Cardinal moved up one spot in the poll following a weekend series win on the road at Washington.
Florida State and Arkansas were the week’s biggest movers, rising five and four spots, respectively. FSU routed Florida in a midweek matchup in Gainesville, while Arkansas took a weekend series win on the road at LSU.
South Carolina and Cal return to the rankings; the Gamecocks picked up the series win against Kentucky, while the Bears won the series on the road at Arizona State.
The SEC leads all leagues with ten ranked teams in the top 25. Other represented conferences include the PAC-12 (6), Big 12 (3), ACC (3), with the Big Ten, Sun Belt, and Patriot League all placing one team in the rankings.
