D1Softball Top 25: Oklahoma State, Arkansas Make Big Moves
Top StoriesOklahoma remains atop the D1Softball poll following week eight’s action, but there is some pretty significant movement behind the Sooners.
The Sooners picked up a series sweep over Kansas to remain in the top spot; they’re joined in the top three by No. 2 Stanford, who picked up a series win over Arizona in Tucson, and No. 3 Oklahoma State, who won the pivotal series against Texas at home.
OSU and Arkansas were the biggest movers of the week, with the Cowgirls rising six spots and the Razorbacks moving up five spots to No. 14 after completing the series win over Georgia on Monday night.
Two teams re-enter the poll after having been ranked earlier in the season; Northwestern appears at No. 24 after picking up a series win over Ohio State in Columbus, while Charlotte appears at No. 25 after finishing off a series win over Wichita State in a key American Conference series.
