D1Softball Top 25: Tennessee Moves Into the Top Two

Texas remains atop the D1Softball Top 25 poll following week thirteen, but the Longhorns have some new company in the top two.

Tennessee moves up to No. 2 in the poll after a three-game sweep over Kentucky to close the regular season. The Lady Vols won the SEC regular-season title for the second consecutive season and will be the #1 seed in the SEC tournament in Auburn this week.

Oklahoma State and Oklahoma, fresh off the Bedlam series in Norman, check in at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively.

Florida and Missouri were the week’s big movers, rising four and five spots, respectively. The Gators move up to No. 8 after a series sweep over Texas A&M, while the Tigers move up to No. 10 after a series win on the road at South Carolina.

Texas State returns to the poll after one week away; the Bobcats finished the regular season with a series sweep over Marshall and 42 wins.
