Top Stories

After a wild week around college softball, the Texas Longhorns remains in the No. 1 position in the D1Softball top 25 poll.

The top three remain unchanged, with Oklahoma still at No. 2 and Stanford at No. 3, despite both losing single games in the midst of conference series’.

During the course of week ten, eight teams ranked in the top ten dropped at least one game. The only team besides Texas who didn’t was Washington, who climbed four spots in the rankings after a 2-0 week that included a road win against Boise State and their PAC-12 bye week.

Kentucky rejoins the rankings following week ten; the Wildcats picked up a home series win over Georgia, bookending wins against the power-hitting Bulldogs to record their second conference series win of the year.
