D1Softball Top 25: The More Things Change, the More They Stay the Same
Top 25Texas and Oklahoma held onto the top two spots in the D1Softball Top 25 poll following week eleven action.
Both the Longhorns and the Sooners posted undefeated showings in week eleven, with Texas recording a series sweep over Kansas and Oklahoma notching three wins against Houston.
Tennessee rose to No. 3 after finishing off a series win over LSU at home, while Oklahoma State checked in at No. 4, coming off an undefeated week in their own right.
UCLA was the week’s biggest mover, jumping all the way to No. 5 after completing a series sweep on the road at Stanford. The Bruins moved up seven spots in this week’s ranking following the three-game success.
After one week out of the poll, Texas State returns to the rankings following a 4-0 showing in week eleven themselves. The Bobcats now sit at 37-12 overall on the year.
The Big 12 is represented by three of the top four teams in the rankings, while the SEC leads all leagues with ten teams rakned in the top 25. Seven total conferences are represented by at least one team in the poll.
